Orchestra Benefit Dinner Pictures are online! |
|
|
The 10th annual Arcadia High School Orchestra Benefit Dinner was
held on Saturday February 21 at the Arcadia Community Center. The evening began with small ensembles played
for the audience after dinner. Craig
and Mary Durst, known professionally as 2AZZ1, and three of their friends
jazzed up the entertainment after dinner in their own unique way. The evening crescendo as
the audience is actually immersed in music when all the orchestra students
come out to surround the audience for three closing numbers. Much thanks for the evening goes to the
Music Students, the Music Directors at all grade levels in Arcadia and to the
parent volunteers, particularly this years chairperson; Susan Lai, who make these opportunities to share
programs like this possible. Click the title to see more pictures.

Arcadia Trailer Has a New Look! |
|
|
Thank you parents!
Due to the success of this year's fundraisers enough extra money was raised to do much
needed repairs and painting for the Arcadia trailer that is often seen parked next to the
music room. Our shiny rig is now on its way to Florida, driven by retired music teacher
Dennis Davies, with the orchestra gear. Look for it when it when it returns next month.
